Czy można skasować Ubera? Newsletter Artura Kurasińskiego

Firma zbudowana przez Travisa Kalanicka przeżyła już chyba wszystko - ataki przez lokalne samorządy, rządy, konkurencyjne startupy i korporacje taksówkowe na całym świecie. Wydawało by się, że już nic nie może wpłynąć na biznes Ubera.
Tymczasem tylko w ostatnim tygodniu liczba kolejnych ciosów spadających na Ubera przekroczyła wartość krytyczną: sam szef dał się nagrać w czasie pyskówki z (współ)pracownikiem, media komentują kwestię molestowania pracownicy i braku reakcji odpowiednich osób w Uberze a konkurencyjna firma Waymo oskarża firmę Kalanicka o kradzież patentów. Ups.
Oczywiście wszystko może rozejść się po kościach i Kalanickowi nic się nie stanie ale po cichu zaczyna mówić się, że Uber to pierwsza firma z gatunku jednorożców, która można implodować. A jak wiadomo rynek nie znosi próżni i zaraz zapełni się następcami.
Kasowanie Ubera można zatem nastąpić nie dlatego, że firma przegra rywalizację globalną z innymi konkurentami ale dlatego, że zostanie przyparta do muru licznymi procesami.
